Congratulations to everyone who represented the school at cricket and hockey last Friday. You were sensational - winning 3 trophies in one day! 33 children (a whole class) travelled to Malton Cricket Club for a tournament featuring schools from across North Yorkshire. Both the A teams (girls and boys) won their leagues. After that, lots of children then went to York High to play in a hockey tournament in the afternoon. For the second year in a row our hockey team was crowned the best in York - what an achievement! Teamwork, resilience, skill, hard work, fun, stamina and creativity were all on display today. ... In RE, Class 6/5A and Class 6/5B came to the end of their unit linked to Transformation and Pentecost. Through St Paul's letter to the Galatians, we explored the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
